CWEB - First thought was that Chris Hemsworth seems to be following in his friend, Tom's footsteps. Tom Hiddleston is known for being the saving grace of less than stellar films, where he is type-cast as the charming, mysterious and complex stranger who is sexy as hell. His innate intelligence and sexual appeal is always what is being marketed in any given role he plays. Chris Hemsworth is the direct opposite of that, and it has been obvious since the first Thor movie. He gets type-cast as the empty-headed, well-endowed jock, because that is supposed to be an overcompensation for the lack of intelligence.
